The control cabinet is a complete control device that includes power switching devices, protection devices, frequency converters, soft-start devices, programmable logic controllers, etc. According to the rules of the electrical installation device (ПУЭ), to connect the pump's electric motor to the network, it is necessary to install a device that protects the network from a short circuit (for example, an automatic switch or fuses). To ensure safety, it is also necessary to have a visible circuit break device (for example, a switch or an automatic switch). A cabinet equipped with these devices, as well as devices that provide additional protection (for example, thermal, overcurrent, overvoltage or undervoltage, phase control, etc.), will be called a complete control device.
